Magallanes is Chile’s southernmost region, home to most of Patagonia's protected natural areas, with 52% of the region being national parks or reserves. Known for its many fjords, it’s ideal for sea kayaking. The mix of freshwater and saltwater from glaciers flowing into the sea creates unique fly-fishing conditions, particularly in the Serrano, Penitentes, and Rio Grande rivers.
